How to pray for us:
There is obviously no wrong way to pray for us, but here is a suggestion that we were given at MAF. We can’t go to Mozambique without financial support, but we don’t want to go without prayer!
Sunday- Relationship with God
… that Steve & Nikki’s Christian life would be evident because of a consistent, daily devotional life focused on God’s Word.
Monday- Family Life
… that Steve & Nikki would sustain a healthy marriage, and that Bekah & Hannah would reflext their unique heritage, all for God’s glory.
Tuesday- Relationships with Fellow Workers
… for flexibility, compatibility, and unity, resulting in appreciation for each others’ strengths, due to open, honest communication.
Wednesday- Effective Ministry
… for open doors to evangelism. Steve & Nikki to communicate the Gospel effectively, and wise use of time and resources.
Thursday- Relationships with Nationals
… for Steve & Nikki’s ability in adapting to the Mozambican culture and obtain fluency in Portuguese; servants’ hearts, to learn from the nationals.
Friday- Emotional Needs
… for Steve & Nikki’s assurance of the Father’s love and sense of Christ’s continued presence.
Saturday- Physical Needs
… for the Simpsons health, safety, and financial supply.
